I just saw this reply and I love that you picked up on that. We, are all guilty of doing what"we want" Instead of doing the right thing for the greater good!! Lord knows I've done it many times!!
Hi Ed, I appreciate your post! I've been making my way through the Super Soul Sunday episode. Something early in the episode resonated a lot with me, particularly when Caroline said, "...We idolize something that doesn't belong to you...we are taught to imitate something, to want something that doesn't belong to us," and Oprah completes the thought, "That is what causes the suffering." It reminds me of the quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti, "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."
