At The Colors of Failure, we believe it’s time to normalize conversations about failure in all its forms—everything from the moment it happens and its immediate impact to the raw emotions and thoughts we experience while navigating it. Failure is a universal part of life, and by sharing real stories from others, our goal is to shift how we perceive and talk about it. Together, let’s redefine failure as a stepping stone to growth and resilience.
🎙️ Exciting News! 🎙️
We’re about to record the very first interview for The Colors of Failure podcast, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! This milestone means so much to us, and we wanted to share it with you, our amazing community, before it even happens. We will be talking with Miles Louis Dante, a competitive triathlete and lifetime endurance athlete, to talk about his experiences with failure and resilience in his life, his training, and his racing.
Here is more about Miles:
Growing up outside of Boston Massachusetts, he fell in love with running and started taking endurance sports seriously, rowing for Saint John’s High School and then collegiately at the University of Chicago. Miles raced multiple times at Head of the Charles and Dad Vails regattas before continuing on to row at Lincoln Park Boat Club in Chicago, IL where he met both Drs. Chin.
He became a dad in 2016, and picked up running (again) as an outlet for those early childhood years, adding the swimming and biking shortly thereafter. He’s been training and racing with Team Bright Side, a non-profit dedicated to raising funds to eradicate pediatric blood cancers, since 2019 and has completed 10x 70.3s including 2 World Championships, 4x 26.2 races, and countless 13.1 races in his career (so far).
Currently living outside of Chicago with his wife, daughter, and beagle, in his downtime he can be found cooking, listening to music (ideally at a show), reading, or raising a ruckus with his family. He can be found at @milesb2009 on Instagram.
We can’t wait to share Miles’ story—it’s one we believe will deeply resonate with anyone who’s faced moments of doubt.
As I prepare for this recording, I’d love your input:
